If your applicant is from overseas and looking to work in a regulated position or to work with children or vulnerable adults an overseas criminal records check will be required. Criminal History Checks are available from overseas Police Forces and Capita Recruitment Vetting Service will check to ensure that your applicant’s details do not appear on them.

The check will evidence current criminal record, unspent convictions and spent convictions. Normally open to people working in a position of trust.

In some circumstances the applicant must apply themsleves to their country of origin for a police check as information is only available to the named applicant.
