Criminal Record Bureau checks
The Home Office Drug Licensing and Compliance Unit (DLCU) has introduced Enhanced Disclosure CRB checks for all of those named on application forms for Controlled Drug domestic licences and Precursor Chemical Category 1 licences and Category 2 and 3 registrations.
DLCU gained the legal power to introduce CRB checks during October 2009.
DLCU has contracted Capita, one of the UK’s leading specialist pre-employment screening and referencing organisations to provide a scheme to assist DLCU licence applicants to obtain CRB checks.
If you are applying for a DLCU licence please contact Capita on 0870 850 2516 (Monday to Friday 9.00 to 5.30) in order to complete your Disclosure Application. During the call all aspects of the Disclosure Application process will be explained to you.
The cost of a CRB check is £60.80 inclusive of VAT.
