Capita Recruitment Vetting Service was formed in 2002 in response to the need for organisations to vet employees and volunteers in order to safeguard vulnerable people and sensitive information.
From central and local government contracts with the Department for Education (DfE), the Home Office and several local councils through to financial services organisations, schools, retail and NHS trusts, Capita provides a quicker, cheaper, easier and safer solution to your current process.
Capita has been so successful at meeting the needs of our clients that, we have become one of the largest CRB Umbrella Bodies handling in excess of 100,000 CRB Disclosure applications per year. As well as offering the umbrella body service, Capita became the first broker of online criminal records checks. This accreditation allows Capita to host an online checking solution on behalf of other registered Bodies, allowing you to retain your Registered Body status. In addition to our CRB service we also provide a full suite of additional employment screening checks to cover all aspects of pre-employment vetting and have recently developed an online system to provide online Disclosure Scotland checks.
